What is my project timeline? How long should I expect my project to take?

Every project is different depending on the size and complexity of your build. Through careful consideration and communication with you about your project needs, a timeline will be established that meets your project goals and provides you with the most beneficial construction experience possible.

What projects has Oakstone Creations and Design completed in the past?

Oakstone has done a multitude of projects including ground up home builds, additions, and remodels/renovations. We have plenty of experience in the construction industry and look forward to helping you complete the project of your dreams!

What can I do to help the project move along in a timely manner?

There are a couple of things you can do to help the project flow in a timely manner. First, make sure all selections are completed before the build starts. We understand that there may be some changes along the way, but if the build can be completed in line with upfront expectations, then we will be able to maintain your original schedule. Second, please do not try and help with the construction process. Our team of professionals will take over your dream project and turn it into reality. To keep them organized and maintain their high-quality level of work, we ask that you allow them to do all on-site construction. Lastly, the office staff will stay in constant contact with you and let you know if there is anything that requires your assistance. Clear and consistent communication helps your project to be done accurately and in a timely manner.

How many years of experience does Oakstone Creations and Design have?

With over 50 years of construction experience, and over 500 satisfied clients throughout our company, we have seen it all during the construction process. There is nothing that will catch us off guard and nothing we will not have a solution to.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes, our estimator will be available to set up a meeting and discuss your needs with you.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We are licensed to build and insured in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

Will I be able to change or request things during the time of construction?

Yes. We do perform change orders but prefer that the choices are made before the construction process begins so that we understand exactly what we are designing and maintain our proposed schedule.

How can I expect updates from Oakstone Creations and Design?

You can expect updates from Oakstone Creations and Design through weekly reports sent out by our office staff with thorough notes from our field staff. You can also call the office or the project manager during normal work hours with any questions that may arise.
